LME’s nickel price rebounds, inventory decline

According to the market information from the London Metal Exchange (LME), the price of the nickel showed a huge jump by US$182.5/ton in a single day, coming to US$20,880.5/ton on December 31st.

In the recent 7 trading days, the nickel futures price showed a 7.3% increment, with around US$1,417/ton, which also pushed the nickel futures price to a new high since November 24th.

Moreover, the inventory of nickel came to 101,886 tons on December 31st, which was the 44th consecutive day decline.
