As of February 16, the shipment data of chromium ore in South Africa showed that 577,000 tons of chromium ore had been sent from South Africa in February, basically to China. Among them, 219,000 tons were sent from Maputo port, 258,000 tons from Richard Bay and 100,000 tons from Durban Bay. In February, the shipping efficiency of South African ports was significantly improved. The average shipping time of each chromium ore ship was 12.4 days, a decrease of 4.8 days compared with January, and the average shipping time of Richard Bay was 19 days, a decrease of 8.4 days compared with January. Although the efficiency of chromium ore shipment in South Africa improved in February, the shipment volume was slightly lower than that in the same period in January, and the pressure of insufficient supply of chromium ore in South Africa remained.
