The quantity imported from South Africa was 21,700 tons, an increase of 3.7% month on month. The quantity of imports from Kazakhstan was 17,600 tons, a decrease of 42% compared to the previous month.
From January to February 2023, Japan's total imports of high carbon ferrochromium were 112,800 tons, an increase of 5.4% year-on-year. The quantity imported from South Africa was 42,600 tons, an increase of 14.8% year-on-year. The quantity imported from Kazakhstan was 48,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 17.8%. The quantity imported from India was 8,500 tons, an increase of 17.9% year-on-year.
