In January 2024, the total import volume of chromium ore in China was 1.9574 million tons, a decrease of 1.9% month on month and an increase of 86.3% year-on-year; Among them, 1.7074 million tons of chromium ore were imported from South Africa, a decrease of 1.3% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 111%; 69,800 tons of chrome ore was imported from Türkiye, a month on month decrease of 8.4% and a year-on-year increase of 12.8%; 63,400 tons of chromium ore imported from Zimbabwe, a decrease of 10.2% month on month and a year-on-year increase of 55.4%.
