In January 2024, the total import volume of China's high carbon ferrochrome was 351,700 tons, an increase of 58.2% month on month and 50.1% year-on-year; Among them, 181,900 tons of high carbon ferrochrome imported from South Africa increased by 51.5% month on month and 50.9% year-on-year; 105,700 tons of high carbon ferrochrome imported from Kazakhstan, an increase of 57% month on month and 101.7% year-on-year.
