Indonesia's scrap imports up in 2013

According to statistics, Indonesia imported 2.40 million tonnes of scraps in 2013 up by 23.4% YoY.
Among them, 572,000 tonnes were from the US; 378,000 tonnes were from Australia and 332,000 tonnes were from Singapore. The monthly scarp imports were averaged at 200,000 tonnes.
In December of 2013, Indonesia imported 164,000 tonnes of scraps, falling by 36.8% YoY.
