Chinese silicon metal export prices go up sharply

Chinese domestic silicon metal prices increase further this week, especially those of the low-grade silicon metal, and many smelters are still unwilling to sell materials. The export offers for 5-5-3 and 4-4-1 increase sharply further to USD2,100-2,140t and USD2,200-2,220t FOB China now, and the transaction prices go up slowly to around USD2,070-2,100t and USD2,160-2,190t FOB China respectively now. The prices for 3-3-0-3, 3-3-0-3 low P and 2-2-0-2 are around USD2,250-2,270t, USD2,290-2,310t and USD2,470-2,490t FOB China respectively.
