Chorme ore market participants optimistic about the future market

Nowdays, Chinese steel mills have published their biding prices for HC ferrochrome, and the prices are about 7,000-7,200RMb/mt 50% Basis, up 50-200RMB/mt, it will also drive up the chrome ore market. The chrome ore traders would like to hold their stocks and not intend to sell in a low price now.

Some port traders said that the ferrochrome market is going up, they will not accept the low chrome ore price now. They would like to adjust up their offers by 0.5RMB/dmtu. 

For the future market, the international chrome ore offers are still firm. They offer Turkeychrome concentrate 46-48% about 275USD/mt CFR China. Some even offerTurkey chrome ore lumpy 40-42% at 255-260USD/mt CFR China. The foreign suppliers think it will be better in the future.
