OM Holdings restarts four ferro-alloys furnaces at Sarawak facility in Malaysia

Singapore-headquartered manganese ore and ferro-alloys producer OM Holdings (OMH) has restarted four of the 16 furnaces it operates in Sarawak, Malaysia, the company said in a note to the Australian Stock Exchange on Monday July 5.
The company received the official go-ahead to restart operations last week, it said, starting with two ferro-silicon funaces and two ferro-chrome furnaces.
The Malaysian government ordered the suspension of all production on May 28 after a Covid-19 outbreak across the country.
