US’ rebar exports hike in Dec 2020 m-o-m, y-o-y

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 22,000 tons of rebar in December 2020, hiking by nearly 2.0% compared to the previous month and also rising by 124% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports to Canada accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 18,000 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 11.3% and a year-on-year hike of 121.4%. The Dominican Republic ranked second with roughly 2,000 tons, and the exports to other destinations were less than 1,000 tons during the period.
