Pakistan imported around 290,400 tons of scrap in June

According to the data released by the Pakistan Federal Bureau of Statistics (PFBS), Pakistan imported around 290,400 tons of scrap in June, which was up by 8.8% compared to the previous month and also growing by 3.7% from the same month a year earlier.
In terms of value, Pakistan’s scrap import value reached roughly US$147.7 million in June, a month-on-month increase of 12.1% and a year-on-year hike of 37.7%.
