According to the statistics of Japanese customs, in December 2022, Japan's manganese ore import volume was 7,186 tons, down 93.73% month-on-month and down 87.97% year-on-year. In December, Japan imported manganese ore mainly from South Africa 7,125 tons, Brazil 21 tons, Gabon 20 tons and India 20 tons. From January to December 2022, Japan's manganese ore imports totaled 755,721 tons, up 0.02% year on year.
