China's high carbon ferrochrome went down in January

In January 2025, the total amount of high carbon ferrochrome imported into China was 243,400 tons, a decrease of 6.2% month on month and 30.8% year-on-year; Among them, 90,900 tons of high carbon ferrochrome were imported from South Africa, a decrease of 35.2% month on month and 50.0% year-on-year. 108,800 tons of high carbon ferrochrome were imported from Kazakhstan, an increase of 30.0% month on month and 2.9% year-on-year.
