In January 2025, China imported a total of 1.7226 million tons of chrome ore, a decrease of 13.5% month on month and 12% year-on-year; Among them, 1.4556 million tons of chrome ore were imported from South Africa, a decrease of 11.2% month on month and 14.7% year-on-year; 58,200 tons of chrome ore was imported from Türkiye, down 33.7% month on month and 16.6% year on year; 146,300 tons of chrome ore were imported from Zimbabwe, a decrease of 16.4% month on month and an increase of 130.7% year-on-year.
