The ex-works prices of Indian silicomanganese 6014 in Durgapur, Raipur, Visakhapatnam and Raigarh rose by 350 Indian rupees per ton (USD 4/ton) week-on-week, hitting a seven-month high of 72,200-73,100 Indian rupees per ton (USD 787-796/ton). Prices have been on a continuous uptrend driven by higher tender volumes from steel mills, with firm spot transaction prices providing solid support for the market.
However, the FOB prices of Indian silicomanganese 6516 at Visakhapatnam Port and Haldia Port fell by USD 11/ton week-on-week to USD 910/ton.
