China has now become the world's largest ferrochrome producer. China’s chrome market is heavily dependent on imports. China will import large quantities of chrome ore every year.
In 2015, the total chrome ore imports in China is about 10.401 million tons. Although the chrome ore market is weak in 2015, China’s chrome ore imports has been increased by 10.84% compared to the same period 2014.
