In June this year, manganese ore shipments from Australia's Port Hedland totaled 72,500 metric tons, decreasing significantly compared to the high level of 219,600 mt recorded in May, and down 48.8 percent compared to the same month of 2012, according to the monthly data released by the Port Hedland Port Authority.

According to the released information, China was the only export destination for manganese ore shipments from Port Hedland in June this year, as in June 2012. China's manganese ore shipments from Port Hedland fell by 57.4 percent in the month in question compared to May.
