In the fourth quarter of 2021, the output of Tharisa chrome ore reached a record high of 401,800 tons, with a month on month increase of 1.5% and a year-on-year increase of 7.9%. The average price of metallurgical grade chrome ore is US $161 / ton. The construction of its Vulcan chromium powder recycling plant is progressing smoothly and is expected to be put into operation in the first quarter of 2022. It is estimated that 1.7-1.85 million tons of chrome ore will be produced in 2022.
