China's import of copper ore and concentrate increased in 2022

According to the data of the General Administration of Customs , China imported 2.13 million tons of copper ore and concentrate in December 2022, a decrease of 309,000 tons (12.81%) compared with 2.412 million tons in November 2022, an increase of 43,000 tons (an increase of 2.09%) compared with 2.06 million tons in December 2021. From January to December 2022, China's total import of copper ore and concentrate was 25.271 million tons, an increase of 1.867 million tons (7.98%) compared with 23.404 million tons from January to December 2021.
