Samchrome announced that the benchmark price for high carbon ferrochrome in Europe for the first quarter of 2026 will be 155 cents/pound chromium, unchanged from the previous quarter (155 cents/pound chromium in the fourth quarter of 2025). The price of chromium increased by 20 cents/pound (6.16% increase) compared to the same period last year (135 cents/pound chromium in the first quarter of 2025).
